EMILE HIRSCH Speed Racer is a new blockbuster movie just about to be released from Warner Brothers that adapts the famous 1960’s Japanese anime “Mach GOGOGO” into a live action film. The original anime appeared on TV in Japan and was brought as “Speed Racer” to US in 1967, which became one of the most successful anime franchises in the US.

The story in the movie is that a young man, named ‘Speed Racer’ with natural talent for racing, who seeks to rescue his family business and the racing sport itself by fighting against Royalton, who fixes races and cheats to gain profit.

This Japanese classic has now been reborn as a revolutionary high definition movie with a real-life anime appearance. It is written and directed by the Wachowski brothers and co-produced by Joel Silver who collaborated for a hugely successful, futuristic “Matrix Trilogy” films. After more than 10 years of international development, Speed Racer will be finally released to the US public on May 9, 2008.

To promote this exciting new film, and on the same day it opens across the USA in over 3,000 movie theatres, Warner Brothers is sponsoring Stanton Barrett to race his high-performance NASCAR race car with the film’s Mach 5 race car graphics. This car will be co-sponsored by Interush a leading international provider of high-performance Internet programs and services for small businesses and individuals.


STANTON BARRETT Stanton Barrett is renowned for his own personal drive and determination as a real life speed racer. As a young driver he was among the best in the country where he quickly moved up to race in the NASCAR series, the premiere auto racing league in the USA. Stanton then went on to establish his own racing team, making him one of the few owner/drivers in NASCAR today!

Stanton Barrett has already appeared and walked down the red carpet at the world premiere of Speed Racer along with other celebrities who star in the film, such as Emile Hirsch, John Goodman, Christina Ricci, Susan Sarandon, Hiroyuki Sanada and Rain ? the popular Asian pop star who stars in the movie as Taejo Togokhan, the rookie racer.

Interush Racing will report on the race following the NASCAR event in Darlington, South Carolina in front an estimated audience of millions of trackside and television race fans who will be introduced to both Speed Racer and Interush.
